Course Description: 

As of July 1st, 2021 Iowans no longer need a permit to carry to in order to bear arms outside the home. We here at Davenport Guns oppose any and all infringements to the right of the People to keep and bear arms. We also understand that carrying a firearm in public is not to be taken lightly, and is an activity to which a lot of accountability is attached.

What you don’t know CAN harm you.

Having the right mindset and “soft-skills” to stay out of danger is critical, and if a fight is forced upon you, making rapid and correct force application decisions will be the difference not only between life and death, but freedom and a prison cell.

Understanding the legal landscape regarding the carrying of firearms and the use of force in defense of self or others is as important as having the gun, and knowing how to use it.
